Hello,

I was born in 1982 which makes me a “Boomer Millennial,” a term I made up and like using. Most of my childhood and teenage years consisted of me playing video games and reading books (starting with comic books and then moving to regular fiction).

I am a Georgia native, still live in Georgia, and love living in the state.

During my teenage years I wrote stories, but they were horrible like most early writing is. By my senior year in high school I planned to get an English degree in college because that’s what authors did.

After graduating college with my English degree, I tried getting my books published traditionally, but didn’t get any traction. Looking back, my writing wasn’t good because of my poor character development skills. In addition, I wasn’t good at developing plots.

I took a break from writing from my late twenties to my early thirties. That break gave me the time to improving my writing style and techniques.
